1,000,000 HOURS!

We have some exciting news!  On January 17, 2024, MCI officially surpassed a milestone of 1 million labor hours worked without a lost time accident. This means that from December 7th, 2021 to the present, we have excelled at maintaining a safe working environment and to looking out for one another. This is an extremely huge and hard task to accomplish in our industry, and it is a testament to our shared belief in the importance of safety, not just as a policy, but as a core value of every day at MCI. Your hard work, vigilance, and dedication are the reason we have reached this milestone. I am incredibly proud to be part of this team and grateful for your commitment to making MCI a safe and successful company. ~ Keith

We're excited to announce that we've been recognized as one of the ABC Carolinas Chapter Top 100 Contractors of 2024! This accolade is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence that every one of our team members embodies.

Last year we ranked 108, and this year we are 100!  It's great to see that with focus and dedication we can continue to improve our reputation across the industry.

Happy Retirement

James Keith!

After 24 years of dedicated service, we would like to announce the retirement of James Keith from MCI.  When James joined MCI, he brought his extensive experience from a 20-year career at Northern Telecom in Durham before it closed its doors.  Initially excelling in our Construction group, James spent his first decade as a Construction project manager, doing most all the larger out of the ground building and Tenant Improvement projects.

 

In response to our growth in Raleigh, James skillfully transitioned to manage our Raleigh Service Group, expanding it through dedicated sales and customer service. He also adeptly managed our truck fleet, ensuring all vehicles were “ready to roll.” After a brief personal leave in 2019, James returned to take on the role of Field Support Coordinator, providing the service technician team and customers the benefit of his deep knowledge and expertise.

 

James's straight-shooting style, coupled with his memorable "Southern-isms" and life lessons, will be greatly missed by his peers. We wish him the very best in his new venture; RETIRED!
