    Overall Position Description

    MCI seeks a Senior Construction Project Management Professional that will be responsible for HVAC-related construction projects i.e. managing, supervising, planning, communicating, executing and completing assigned projects. The position carries the responsibility to ensure that the project is implemented effectively within cost, schedule, quality and safety parameters.     Key Job Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the planning and execution of project work plans, management of day-to-day office and field operations of projects including

    Controls Service Team Leader – Charlotte NC

    Overall Position Responsibilities

    MCI is looking for a Controls Service Team Leader to support our existing Service customers with their controls related needs.  This position operates as an extension of our Systems Integration Group, and includes warranty and controls diagnostic support. Employee will support the Service Group with pre-sales, management and implementation of small controls related projects and assist with and coordinate the controls training efforts for the service technicians as needed.  This position is located in Charlotte, NC and reports directly to the Systems Integration Manager.

    Job Requirements 

    Service Group support:

    • Support our existing building sales group with onsite system and controls recommendations for small projects (i.e. RTU change outs)
    • Assist with documentation for sales proposals for small existing building projects, coordinate efforts with SIG Manager
    • Program and checkout small control projects as required
    • Coordinate with electrical subcontractors to ensure proper project completion
    • Coordinate activities with IBS team members on each project as required to verify controls installations meet project objectives

    Service and Controls support:

    • Support existing Service customers with their controls needs. (i.e. trouble calls, diagnostic support, warranty issues, etc.)

    MCI seeks Building Automation (BAS) Controls Technician to install, program and service digital control systems while maintaining quality and satisfying customer needs. This position reports to the Systems Integration Manager and is located in Raleigh, NC.


    Key Job Tasks

    1. BAS project installation and verification.
      • Represent company by serving as direct customer contact.
      • Coordinate electrical and other sub-contractors to ensure proper project completion.

The position reports to the manager of the Service Department department and positions are available in Raleigh or Charlotte, NC.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    1.    Perform repairs calls on HVAC equipment

    MCI seeks skilled sheet metal mechanics with a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in the construction of commercial HVAC Systems. These positions report to the Senior Project Manager assigned and are located in both Charlotte, NC and Raleigh, NC.

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings detailing HVAC duct fittings.
    • Provide assistance to the construction lead and foremen as needed on the job.
